Tim Fairley-Wax is a research area specialist co-managing two DOE-funded projects aimed at driving down cost and energy use for treatment of waste streams including municipal wastewater, food waste, and sludge. In these projects, he leads the development of patented dynamic membrane technology, which seeks to overcome key challenges with existing membrane separation approaches. In parallel to this work, he has pursued technology transfer opportunities through customer discovery work in the NSF I‑Corps and CleanTech Open programs.
