Congrats to new PhD Graduates Dianna Kitt and Pedro Puente
On May 8th, Dr. Dianna Kitt successfully defended her dissertation, “Advancing Anaerobic Biotechnologies for Medium Chain Carboxylic Acid Production from Organic Waste”. Soojung and Cemre attend GRS and GRC

Raskin Group Hosts DOE for IBET visit (January 2025)
In mid-January, the IBET (Integrated biochemical and electrochemical technologies) project began the integration process of connecting University of Michigan’s two-phase reactors with Argonne National Lab’s ERCHD reactor and Northwestern’s GAME reactor. The Department of Energy came to visit and witness some of the progress of the integration process. Read more
