Soojung and Cemre attended the Water Disinfection, Byproducts, and Health GRS (Gordon Research Seminar) and GRC (Gordon Research Conference) from July 26 to August 1. Soojung presented “Impact of Routine Full-Scale Flushing in Drinking Water Distribution Systems on Microbial Communities and Nontuberculous Mycobacteria” at the GRS. Soojung (“Impact of Full-Scale Drinking Water Distribution System Flushing on the Abundance of Nontuberculous Mycobacteria and Nitrifiers“) and Cemre (“Insights from Pilot-Scale Advanced Drinking Water Treatment Trains for Organic Carbon and Disinfection By-Product Precursor Control“) also presented a poster at the GRC, and Soojung was nominated for a top poster.
